    Could be better...

We looked forward to this trip, but it turned out to be a disappointed one. The weather was foggy, so there was no visibility when we were up in the mountain. We were supposedly at the border between the US and Canada, but we could not see anything 10 meters ahead. The weather cleared when we finished the trip. We wished it were an afternoon tour!

This was an outstanding tour by our tour guide Billy. Learned all about the natural environment and about the gold mining boom and activities and some of the businesses that were present at the time. We were able to get all the way to the Canadian border while the train would not have taken that far. The train had a washout and only goes about 4 miles from town. This bus tour was outstanding.

Billie was the absolute BEST tour guide/driver! She has been a resident of Skagway for 23 years and knew all sort of inside information that she shared along the way. She stopped multiple times for the 8 of us to get out and take pictures as she told us about the sights we were seeing! I would rate higher her than a 5* for the value we got. So much better than the train, I think

Easier to see and photograph the scenery than on the train. More personable, too. The multiple stops were good for photos.

We had such a great time on this tour. Brian, our tour guide was friendly, informative and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour. Also as a side note we needed to cancel a different tour because of cruise changes and they were easy and efficient to deal with. Also I thought I lost my jacket on the bus and they were very prompt with a response. This tour company is one of the best I’ve used. Thank you so much for such a great experience.
