Good value for a full day tour. The guide’s English could have been better if they would slow down and don’t commingle instructions with Spanish so much. Just make all announcements in Spanish then in English instead of every other sentence We could hardly understand so we just use Wikipedia and read up on it.

Edith was a friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful guide and the entire experience was full of once-in-a-lifetime sights. My only feedback would be if you’re going make sure to pack a lunch as we didn’t really stop for lunch (just snacks and then diner at the end) and it’s a lot of walking.

Wonderful, amazing, fun, enlightening tour!

This was a wonderful tour. The drive to the sites was very comfortable and secure thanks to the bus driver. I really appreciate our tour guide "with the blue hair" Edith. She had great information educating us on Mexican history on the transition from pre-Columbian times to the forced and then voluntary adoption from old gods' ways to the Spanish church. At Tlatelolco, we saw temple ruins that were deconstructed to build a church, and we learned about a government massacre on a public plaza in 1968 during the Olympic games. As she told about the tragic times, she didn't just tell the facts but really made us feel the grief of the oppression and crimes that had happened here. At our next stop to the Shrine of Guadalupe, we learned more about the transition to Catholicism, and further down the road outside the city, enjoyed a fun show-and-tell about obsidian, maguey, and tequila. Finally, Teotihuacan was amazing and I would have enjoyed hanging out there longer, but the sun was also very strong there and I can appreciate how it was saved for the "cooler" part of the day. Edith told us more background about the gods and way of life at Teotihuacan than is the invented version invented by the people who found it abandoned years later, and more than was in my travel guidebook. I highly recommend this tour!

I loved the tour! Our guide Leonardo and driver Thomas were amazing. Leonardo was super informative and was even throwing in historical facts/contents that was beyond the normal script I assume, it was greAT I loved it! I do wish we got to spend more time at the pyramids but we stayed extra at the bascilica and just got an uber home ;)

Good sites, poor guide

The sites we visited were interesting, but Alexa’s (the guide) descriptions were almost impossible to understand. Her accent was so heavy that you couldn’t understand her, and I’ve gone on many tours where the guide had an accent but was understandable. And to make matters worse, she had her back to us much of the time.

The Tour spent too much time to shopping & lunch, not enough time for Teotihuacán & Guadalupe Shrine. No time to work around at Tlatelolco
