Great photo outing

My husband and I enjoyed our Aurora Northern Lights Photography Tour last night with Mr. Bill. He was great with communications right from the start of our booking. The weather on our original night looked iffy so Mr. Bill recommended postponing to the next night which we really appreciated. No reason to stand out in the cold for hours if there are too many clouds to see any Aurora activity. He was very knowledgeable took us to a perfect spot for our viewing. We enjoyed the time we spent with Bill and would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the Aurora lights. Thank you Bill for an amazing time!

Mother Nature is AMAZING! The Northern Lights were a photography bucket list item for me. I booked a trip to Fairbanks, Alaska, on a whim, and hoped I would be lucky enough to catch a glimpse at the lights. I found Viator, online and booked with the Your guide Bill. I am so glad I chose his tour business. Bill is very friendly, knowledgeable and a photographer himself. I am a seasoned photographer, but not one that never stops learning. I picked up some great knowledge, for shooting the aurora night sky. We had a group of beginner photographers and Bill had rental gear for all of them and walked them through camera settings and how to get the best shots. Everyone got amazing shots. There are no guarantees that the aurora will show, but our night was a success! Bill even takes your photo under the lights. I will be back for another trip with Bill!
Absolutely incredible experience

Epic Aurora watching!!

My husband and I had just recently went to Fairbanks Alaska. We booked Aurora Northern Lights Photography Workshop & Tour. We have to say it was amazing! Bill (our tour guide and teacher) was amazing! He was so knowledgeable in the Aurora Lights and how tot take pictures. Bill taught us how to put in the right settings on our camera to take great pictures. Coming to Alaska the Aurora lights was on the top of our list to see and Bill made it happened. He was patient and went out of his way to accommodate us. We enjoyed the time we spent with Bill. The highlight of this trip is the Aurora Nightcap that Bill served us. It was soo tasty and just what we needed during the cold night of Aurora watching. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the Aurora lights. Thank you Bill for an amazing time!!! We are looking forward to coming back for more aurora watching in the future!!
Aurora happened!

After hours of waiting in a comfortable and cozy warm vehicle, the clouds passed and the northern lights came out to play. Mr. Bill supplied rental camera equipment to those of us who needed it, and made sure all cameras were using best settings. Lots of useful info for northern lights photography with emphasis on best practices for quality shots rather than shots that need edits in Photoshop. Looking forward to another night if the weather cooperates.

First of all, the procedures were simple. Bill, the tour guide, was flexible enough to change the schedule to a different night as long as your schedule allows to maximize the chance of seeing the Aurora, and changes can be easily made and communicated thru text or a simple phone call. As for the tour, Bill brought us 3 of us Bill to a spot where there aren't many, if any other people so that you can focus and enjoy taking your photos of the gorgeous northern light. Our night was supposed to be cloudy, and it was, plus kind of windy and cold in late March, but after 1am it cleared out a bit and we were fortunate enough to witness and see some of them. I truly learned a lot from Bill about photographing the lights and even other photography experience. We had a lot of fun that night sharing some experiences and jokes. I rent the equipments from Bill and the pictures taken from it make me looks like a pro :, and I know close to nothing about photography. I strongly recommend this tour even if you are not a photographer, as you not only can see the light but see it from a photographer's view.
