Tours begin right at your Fairbanks hotel, so you don’t need to plan how to get to us and you will save additional taxi costs. Free guest pickup from 9:30pm to 10pm. Your guide will call/text when they are 10 min away from pick up.

This was such a wonderful tour, that we signed up to go again a few days later! Daniel told so many great stories of Alaska Native ways and traditions, and Nick took beautiful photos of us under the aurora. These were included in the price, as were the various hot drinks and a chance to roast reindeer hotdogs over the fire ( add sourdough "buns", yum!) A warm van, incredible aurora, and Daniel " whistling up the lights". ( A clear night helped) Such a fantastic experience- "twice" in a lifetime! This is SO worth the price - don't hesitate!

I remember seeing forecasts for most of the day and seeing heavy cloud cover over almost all of the area. I feel like they went out of their way to give us a great viewing experience. They ended up finding us what I feel like was that one clear spot in the area. Pick up was incredibly convenient picking up straight from the hotel. Definitely worth every penny, the fire and reindeer sausages are a nice touch as well. The staff were friendly knowledgeable and you can tell they love what they do. Hope to have a repeat adventure sometime soon.

Driver never picked me up. I called and was told my tour was on the next day. When my ticket clearly stated I had the correct date. They even texted me the morning of about my pick up time but still never picked me up

We apologize for this, April is the end of our season, but this year it was especially busy, and we had some staff quit at this peak time. This is not in any way a reason that you should have been missed, but mistakes happen, and we really hope you will give us another chance if you make it back to Fairbanks. When my previous tour package was canceled due to weather, I was out of luck. Fortunately this company had an available seat. The other wonderful part was that date was one of the best dates to view the aurora. Our guide was awesome and very knowledgeable. He made a fire and roasted reindeer sausage for us and set up coffee and hot cocoa. I would recommend them to anyone!

Daniel and Nick were super professional and had coffee, hot cocoa, water, and Local Alaskan Hard Seltzer for us while we roasted reindeer sausage over a fire. The first location we went to had too many people due to an upcoming dog race but Nick had a secondary spot for us to watch the Auroras, and man were they out last night! These guides spend the entire day looking at aurora and cloud forecast to determine the best area to view this marvel! What an amazing experience!

We had a wonderful and unforgettable experience . Our guide Daniel was excellent! We were literally chasing Aurora Borealis ! He made sure that we get the best experience ever . Since it was dark our life depended on him and we just trusted him. From setting up the bonfire to the hotdog and coffee/chocolate drinks- he made sure we were all taken cared of . Above all -he made sure we have the best photos taken with the Aurora Borealis ! Coming all the way from the Philippines -this was worth all the trip ! I would surely recommend this tour and would tell them to request for Daniel as the guide . We learned a lot from Daniel being a local ! Great Aurora chasing Tour

What a fun experience! Booked with Aurora In Alaska last minute since the Aurora was supposed to be very active on the day I booked which was March 13th, 2022. Christina, my guide and driver, was super friendly and very knowledgeable. Got the van safely to the viewing location north of Fairbanks. Once there, joined up with the other vans. While waiting for the Aurora to show itself, the guides helped us with the reindeer sausage and hot beverages. Very useful since it was super cold that night. All the guides super knowledgeable on all things Aurora. Unfortunately the Aurora just peaked out then disappeared for the night. Got back safely to the hotel. The next day, had an email from Nick who sent some pictures and offered to take me back out on any night the coming week since the Aurora didn't show. That was super special of Aurora In Alaska and Nick to offer that. I didn't have any available nights to take them up on the offer but would have. Great tour company to chase the Aurora with!!

Not a Small Group and Not an Adventure

So we selected this tour because of its reviews and because it was described as an Aurora Chaser type of activity. In reality, the small group was more like 50 people, and they only took us to one location. The description and the photos lead you to believe one thing well it is actually is something else entirely. If you are looking for a small group activity to see the Northern Lights I recommend a different tour. The cost is twice as high as a number of other tours we took and the "service" or tour part was lacking. There is one guy that will take your pictures and they did have a fire and drinks but they should rename this tour to Aurora Tailgate and be upfront that they are going to bring 4 van loads of people and not really help you see the auroras just take you to one spot to hopefully see them. Frankly, this was the tour was most excited to take to see the Aurora and was the most disappointed. Not worth the $470 I paid for two.

We are sorry that you did not have as small of a tour as you were expecting, but the KOP index that night was a 4, and we expected and received a higher turn out than usual. We hope that you were still able to get great shots from that night, and had an enjoyable time other than the amount of people that were there. We are trying to get our parts all moving fluidly, but sometimes there are hiccups. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help remedy this situation.

This was a great experience. Not only did we see the Northern lights, but a fire pit kept us warm along with hot coffee and coco and reindeer sausage links to boot. Stop looking at other tour operators and book this one!

A viewing opportunity at the site of a Wilderness Lodge was a special treat. The Aurora was nor very cooperative but did make one memorable appearance. Our guide was a very knowledgeable native Alaskan.

Amazing & Wonderful Tour Experience

This tour was amazing, we would give it 10 stars if we could, it was amazing beginning to end. The communication was great and we received a text from our guide, Nick, 15 min prior to pick up letting us know he was arriving. Nick was not only our driver, but our photographer as well. We stopped along out route to see the Alaska Pipe Line, and take a couple of pictures. When we got to our viewing spot, the highest point outside of Fairbanks, they set up tables with reindeer or vegetarian sausage/hot dogs, hot coffee, tea & hot chocolate, plus they set up 2 bon fires. There were approx. 30 people between 2 vans. They kept the vans running and heated, so between the bon fires and heated vans, we could keep warm and toasty. Nick took a lot of pictures, and sent us the link to be able to download them, the following day. He also helped people with their cameras, if they needed help. That night we had an amazing light display. This whole experience was truly phenomenal, and the highlight of our trip. We would rate it higher if we could. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.

Daniel was awesome…more importantly he got us there safely on icy roads!!! You’re not guaranteed to see the lights, so the spot was awesome…the reindeer sausage was awesome, we had a great group!! Nick took amazing photos!! It was freezing , so the fire pit really helped! Great time and definitely recommend!!!
